At Automatic Payroll
Systems, Inc. (APS) we specialize in providing
payroll and tax compliance services to small
and mid-sized companies throughout the United
States. APS was formed in 1996 with the main
objective of delivering the highest level of
customer service in the industry. As a result,
our client turnover rate has averaged less than
2% per year. Believe it or not, our very first
client is still a client.
Over the years we have worked
diligently to create services and technologies
based on our clients' needs - such as, accrual
plans that actually work, garnishment deductions
that are calculated and paid in compliance with
the court order, and dedicated Account Managers
that are specifically assigned to every client
regardless of size.
In addition to traditional
payroll and tax compliance services, we also
developed an advanced web based payroll application,
APS OnLine. This software is designed to give
our clients the best of both worlds, complete
access and control of the payroll data, without
the burden of managing the payroll and tax compliance
function of the business. Since we own our technology,
we are able to quickly and easily meet the changing
needs of our clients. In addition, we actively
solicit feedback from our clients and many of
the features of APS OnLine are a direct result
of that interaction.
In 2006 we went a step further
and re-evaluated the payroll needs of small
businesses and discovered that most business
owners were looking for a more efficient and
affordable way to manage payroll. As a result,
we developed a version of APS OnLine specifically
tailored to their needs, aptly called the Small
Business Edition.
The Small Business Edition
represents a shift in the way payroll services
have been delivered and priced for years. Rather
than charging the client per payroll run, per
employee and per everything else that large
service providers charge, the client simply
pays one flat subscription fee per month based
on the number of active employee licenses purchased.
Furthermore, through the Small Business Edition
the client can print checks, direct deposit
vouchers, and reports on demand without having
to rely on a currier service to deliver the
payroll.
