FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Automatic Payroll Systems
signs sponsorship agreement
with Bassmaster Elite Series rookie James Niggemeyer
SHREVEPORT, LA - JANUARY 26, 2007 Automatic
Payroll Systems, Inc. (APS) expands Bassmaster
Elite Series angler sponsorship to include rookie
James Niggemeyer of Van, Texas. Niggemeyer,
originally from Glendale, California, relocated
to Texas' famed Lake Fork in 2001 to begin honing
his skills as a full-time fishing guide.
Niggemeyer qualified for the 2007 Elite Series
by finishing first in the 2006 Bassmaster Southern
Tour points race. Along the way he also managed
to win the Southern Tour event on Santee Cooper
Reservoir in Manning, South Carolina.
During the 2007 Elite Series, Niggemeyer will
participate in 12 Bassmaster events, starting
with his first Bassmaster Classic on Lay Lake
in Birmingham, Alabama. The 2007 Elite Series
schedule includes events in Texas, California,
Georgia, Alabama, Virginia, Oklahoma, New York,
Maryland, and Florida. As part of the sponsorship
agreement, Niggemeyer will fish from an APS
wrapped Bass Cat Cougar boat, featuring the
apspayroll.com web address as the focal point
of the wrap.
"I have watched James' career develop over
the last couple of years and we are very excited
about the possibilities that this sponsorship
will provide. James has proved that he belongs
at this level (Elite Series) and his personal
integrity is what attracted us to enter into
this relationship" said APS president Aaron
Johnson.
Coverage of the Bassmaster Elite Series can
be seen on Saturday mornings on ESPN 2.
