FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Niggemeyer pays Automatic
Payroll Systems'
sponsorship big dividends with Texas Toyota
Bass Classic Win!
SHREVEPORT, LA - APRIL 16, 2007 Team members
Terry Scroggins, Chris Daves, Frank Ippoliti,
and James Niggemeyer boated 119 pounds of bass
on the 3rd day of competition in route to an
amazing 3-day total winning weight of 244 pounds
in the inaugural Toyota Texas Bass Classic (TTBC)
this past weekend on Texas' Lake Fork Reservoir.
The TTBC is the first event of its kind to be
organized by the Professional Anglers Association.
Participating in the event were the top 160
professional anglers vying for a piece of the
one million dollar total purse and the top prize
of $250,000. Specially formatted for national
television coverage, the tournament field was
be broken into "four-man" teams randomly
drawn from among the 160 entrants.
Bassmaster Elite Series angler James Niggemeyer,
a guide on Lake Fork, signed a boat wrap agreement
with non-endemic sponsor Automatic Payroll Systems
(APS) in January of this year. "The sponsorship
with James was indented to increase the awareness
of apspayroll.com through his participation
in the Elite Series and the coverage provided
by EPSN2. By winning the Texas Bass Classic
and the exposure on CBS that comes with the
title, I think we are more excited than James
is" said APS president Aaron Johnson.
CBS Sports will broadcast a one-hour special
this Mother's Day, May 13th , reprising the
action in the Toyota Texas Bass Classic (TTBC)
presented by Enterprise Rent-A-Car. The broadcast
will be a historic first for a bass fishing
tournament, taking the sport to a nationally
televised audience.
