Time & Attendance
The time and attendance module in APS OnLine helps
organizations improve the time keeping process and attendance records
for hourly, non-exempt, and exempt workers. As part of our single system
design, once an employee is setup in APS OnLine, the employee is ready
to start clocking in. No manual processes or dual entry required.
Ease Of Use
Time supervisors can quickly correct missed punches
for multiple employees from one screen. In addition, pay items such
as sick or vacation time can be entered directly on the employee's
time card. To help our customers maintain better attendance records,
forced comments can be enabled requiring time supervisors to input
a reason for making a change to a time card.
- Real-time access allows quick access to review who is in and
who is out
- Overtime alerts help make staffing decisions before negatively
effecting payroll
- Audit log tracks all changes to time cards by user, date, original
value, and new value
- Mass input can update multiple employee time cards for additional
hours such as holidays
- Email alerts notify supervisors when a new time off request is
submitted
Flexibility You Need
Business rules are assigned according to your requirements,
rather than a canned approach. Managing exceptions to certain rules
can be done on the employee level and are maintained continually.
- Automatic lunch deductions
- Round punches on five minute increments
- Overtime hours in a work week or day
- Shifts that span multiple work days
- Unlimited hours & earnings income types
- Your data is never purged and always available for reporting
Time Capture Options
Based on your needs APS can create a solution that
incorporates either internet based or biometric technology for capturing
employee punches. For security, our advanced IP address and MAC address
filtering eliminates the possibility of an employee clocking in from
home or outside of your network. For requests to use benefit hours
such as vacation or sick time, employees can submit a time off request
from eselfserve.com, our employee self-service portal. |
